Families are supported through regular communication, home partnership, and opportunities to stay connected through the broader Roots & Wings community, including field trips, special outings, meetups, and family-centered events.

How is class time structured? Class time is structured around the Montessori work cycle, where children receive individual or small-group lessons and choose meaningful work within a prepared environment. The work cycle also includes movement, practical life, art, music, stories, outdoor exploration, and carefully chosen experiences that support independence, concentration, social development, and joyful learning.
How do you assess progress without traditional testing? Through careful observation, work samples, and regular communication with families. Guides track each child’s development and adapt lessons as needed.
Will my child nap during the day? Children who need rest have a dedicated nap time after lunch, while others engage in quiet, purposeful activities.
How does family partnership work? Families receive regular communication about their child’s growth and are invited to partner through at-home support, volunteering, workshops, field trips, special events, and shared community experiences. Families are also asked to contribute two volunteer hours per month to support the life of the program.
What if I have more than one child? We offer a 10% sibling discount for families enrolling more than one child.
Is there a long-term option as my child grows? Yes! Our Elementary Program continues through age 12, and priority is given to Primary families as spaces open.
